Product Description

A two component acrylic aliphatic polyurethane designed to provide excellent weathering resistance for longer colour and shade retention. Exhibits excellent UV resistance, water resistance and re-coat ability. Recommend and apply Aqua PU in extensive colour range - metallic or non-metallic finishes and clear coat as well, delivering high aesthetics and durability.

Surface should be clean and dry prior to over-coating. Chalking, if any, must be removed.

Possible Applications

Aqua PU suitable for use in both new construction and as a maintenance coating which can be used in a wide variety of environments including offshore structures, chemical and petrochemical plants, bridges, pulp and paper mills, and in the power industry. Use Aqua PU on concrete floors to enhance low permeability to water, colour coding and enhance aesthetics.

Relative Humidity 85% maximum
Surface temperature shall always be at least 3°C above Dew Point. Do not expose the coated articles where there are chances of condensation on the surface.


Aqua PU is supplied in 2 parts. Always mix liquid (Part B) into the liquid (Part A) while stirring. 75-100 RPM mixer is recommended. Material should be screened prior to application.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be coated shall be dry and free from oil, grease, dust, dirt and any foreign matter that can adversely affect adhesion of coating. Solvent cleaning as per SSPC SP1 shall be conducted wherever necessary.


10 - 20% Aqua T02 as needed.

Airless Spray

Recommended. Tip range: 0.43-0.53 mm at 2500 - 3000 psi tip pressure.

Conventional Spray

Recommended. Do not exceed spray pressure than 4 Kg/Sq.Cm

Brush / Roller

Recommended to use roller and brush.
